Bio
Greed was the second oldest homunculus that Dante had created through an attempt at human transmutation. A former lover of Dante, Greed lived up to his name by wanting everything that he came across, whether it be money, women, or power. He wanted everything that life had to offer him and would stop at nothing to get it.
He had originally served his lover, creator and Master, Dante. But after getting fed up with her and not wanting to be ruled over any longer, he broke away from the homunculi group Dante had created and set out on his own. Greed and Envy had always been bitter rivals, threatening to seal each other whenever an encounter occured.
Upon leaving Dante's side and betraying the homunculi group, Greed wound up getting captured and sealed away in the 5th Laboratory by Envy, Pride, and Dante. The seal that had held him there was the skull from his former self. The very skull that he was created from. When Barry the Chopper tried to flee from Al and Scar, creating an explosion, Greed's skull was freed from it's prison and the seal was broken. Greed tried to win over Dante's homunculi and resources, but his plans did not work, so instead he recruited a group of chimera test subjects that were being kept at the 5th Laboratory.
When Greed had heard of Wrath's presence, he also tried to get him on his side, but Wrath was taken under Dante's rule instead. In the series, Greed had a final showdown with Edward after being confronted by Dante, who at the time had taken over Lyra's body. She fooled Greed into believing that Lyra had killed Dante and this shocked Greed long enough for her to create and activate a flamel arrray to seal Greed away permanently. As Greed is being sealed, he tells Ed the secret to stopping the homunculi.
When Greed was alive, he boasted about how he was the Ultimate Shield and that nothing could stop him. His body was made out of molecules that could rearange themselves in a way that he could not be hurt. Appearing to have hardened skin, as tough as metal. Greed was also a ladies man. He was a flirt and spent his time at a hideout that he claimed as his own called The Devil's Nest. It was a safe haven for him and his chimeras.
